Summary

I have read the entire book without having read any of it, an odd experience and one I would’ve enjoyed solving if I had more time on my hand。Will (probably not) be picking this up another day。The use of language itself is great and I love the references to wider literature and poetry, very intricate and well thought out。

Well I have READ it all。。。Now onto the hard part I guess?

could be fun but more so extremely painful。 have not put together the entire 100 pages yet (in fact only like 10 pages) but it was fun while it lasted (question mark)。 3。2 stars。

Weirdest book (or should I say riddle/ puzzle) ever

I love the concept。 Really brings out my inner detective。 But I can be quite frustrating since it was written in the 30s and the wording to so weird

Cody

now onto the solving part 🔍🧐

My toxic trait was thinking that I could figure out how to solve the mystery of the book。 I'm still not giving up yet! Hopefully some clarity will come my way。 My toxic trait was thinking that I could figure out how to solve the mystery of the book。 I'm still not giving up yet! Not really sure if this counts as being read since I haven't read the pages in the correct order。 I guess it's time to solve this murder mystery。 Can't wait to create a mystery board。 Really love this concept that we have to solve it。 Not really sure if this counts as being read since I haven't read the pages in the correct order。 I guess it's time to solve this murder mystery。 Can't wait to create a mystery board。 Really love this concept that we have to solve it。 。。。more

First read through complete。 Now on to solve the puzzle。 Leaving rating neutral until I can determine portions of the plot。

I genuinely think I have moderate intelligence- and I haven’t got a pissing clue what’s going on。 I have about 259 different ideas。 Glad I’m a physio not a detective。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I thought the book was more interesting when I thought the narrator was trans, and that interest really dipped when I heard there was actually more than one narrator。 Reading it gave me a headache but that's definitely just a language thing。 What I can't get over is how boring the actual story is in favour of the mystery, but at the same time, the whole thing feels weirdly obtuse on purpose? I feel like I can't rate this since I really have no idea what just happened 。。。 That being said, I annotated for character names and other clues to help me piece the mystery together。 Can't wait to put my murder wall up this spring break and attempt to put the book in order! I absolutely want to do this someday and I have an idea。 Hear me out: this is a 100 page task。 What if 10 people sit down and get assigned 10 pages each, where everyone studies their respective pages including significant info (events, names, dates, references etc)。 A subsequent brainstorm session would be soooo much fun and can eventually lead to solving this。 This is going on the bucket list。 Someday。
